Blepharoplasty or Non-Invasive Alternatives? What Really Works on Eyelids

Short answer: if there is genuine excess skin, no. Sagging skin on the upper eyelid is a structural excess of tissue. No injection or device removes that tissue — only a surgeon can take it away.

Non-invasive methods can improve the eye area in other ways: relaxing facial muscles, restoring volume or improving skin quality. For subtle signs of ageing this may be enough. With significant excess skin or fat pockets, however, they reach their limit.

Botulinum toxin relaxes facial muscles and softens dynamic wrinkles caused by movement — typically «crow's feet» at the outer corners. It cannot remove excess skin or lift a truly drooping eyelid.
